Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Ratio between income of A and B is = 5:4

Ratio between expenditure of  A and B is = 7:5

Now, consider the monthly income of the A = 5x and B = 4x and their expenditure are 7y and 5y respectively

We know that  (Savings = Income – expenditure)

That means the savings of A is = (5x-7y) =3000 ........ Equation -1

Saving of B is (4x-5y) =3000........equation -2

By multiplying the equation -1 by 5 and equation -2 by 7 we get

25x-35y=15000 ...............equation-3

28x-35y=21000................equation -4

Now subtracting equation 3 from equation 4 we get

](28x-35y)-(25x-35y)=21000-150000\\\\\Rightarrow28x-35y-25x+35y=6000\\\\\Rightarrow3x=6000\\\\\Rightarrowx=2000Now put the value of x=2000 we get

Therefore the income of A is =5\times2000=10000 and income of B is[tex] = 4\times2000=8000[tex]
