Here moon is an inanimate object, and so has no gender.


However, in Classical times and Astrologically the Moon is considered as a female, so it can be referred to as 'her'.


The English language does NOT use gender for applied to objects, for the reason that objects have no gender.


Unless you are referring to male and female, then used  'His' and  'Her', otherwise, it is stated as  'its'.


Hence, Personification this is right Answer.
