Answer:

'Bright Morning' is a comparatively less known poem but, is the most charming and eye-catching for me. I had it as a part of my english curriculum in school, when asked to paraphrase it as a homework by the teacher, I felt that it was the best paraphrase I had ever written. So, let's talk about what exactly is a paraphrase.

Paraphrasing involves taking a set of facts or opinions and rewording them. While paraphrasing, it is important to keep the original meaning and to present it in a new form. Basically, you are simply writing something in your own words that expresses the original idea.

William Wordsworth is one of the most iconic poet known to mankind. His poems are beyond comparison and he never ceased to grab the reader's attention with the beauty and depth of his poems. One after the other, he wrote poems with each being better than the rest.

Bright Morning

There was a roaring in the wind all night;

The rain came heavily and fell in floods;

But now the sun is rising calm and bright,

The birds are singing in the distant woods;

Over his own sweet voice the stock-dove broods;

The jay makes answer as the magpie chatters;

And all the air is filled with pleasant noise of waters.

All things that love the sun are out of doors;

The sky rejoices in the morning's birth;

The grass is bright with raindrops on the moors

The hare is running races in her mirth;

And with her feet she from the plashy earth

Raises a mist; that, glittering in the sun,

Runs with her all the way, wherever she doth run. -William Wordsworth

Paraphrase:

The poet, William Wordsworth has tried to depict a beautiful morning after a harsh, rough night.The poet begins by saying that strong winds blew all night and the rain fell bringing a fierce flood alongside.

True to the saying, dawn comes after a dark night, the rose, calmly, peeking from hilltops. The bright golden rays came cutting the gloomy darkness, spreading light all around.

The dawn chorus is heard from the distant woods. The Stock- dove chirps away merrily while the noisy Jay and Magpie chatter.

The river water gushes down gently through the forest while numerous animals, big and small come out to greet the new day.

The blue sky enveloping the dazzling sun, too celebrates for a new beginning. The grass on the moor has a lovely shade of green with raindrops adoring it's tips.

A hare runs along the moor, her feet wet with a perfect hue of the purest white, runs on the wet earth with the mist rising and coupling with sky, spreading like a cloud across the sky. The white veil spreads around glittering like an ornament in the yellow light.

So, I have paragraphed according to every new idea being expressed. I write according to the rules of ssc board, so the paraphrase is supposed to be crisp but not too short. Ideas are not supposed to be written in the poet's language but using one's creativity and play of words.
