(1)Identify the type of motion from the following
(A) car is not in motion
(B) car is moving with uniform velocity
(C) car is moving with uniform acceleration
(D) None of the above
(ii)What does the slope of the graph represent?
(A) acceleration
(B) velocity
(C) force
(D) momentum
(iii) What kind of graph do we obtain if we plot position - time graph of the car
(A) Straight line parallel to X axis
(B) Straight line parallel to Y axis
(C) parabola
(D) Zig Zag curve

Answer:

i) (C) the car is moving with uniform acceleration

ii) (A) acceleration

iii) (C) parabola

iv) (A) displacement

tried my best to explain, hope its helpful!

Explanation:

i) As it is velocity-time graph, it shows how velocity is changing with time. Acceleration is rate of change of velocity. As is a straight line, it is uniform acceleration.

ii) same explanation as (i)

iii) position-time graph gives us velocity. so according to this situation, velocity is changing uniformly. so, we get a parabola for s-t graph

iv) area under velocity-time graph always gives us 'displacement' (velocity= displacement/ time)
