the MP of an items is rs 6000 .the dealer allow a discount of 4% on cash payment if the rate of tax is 12% find the amount the customer has to pay to the dealer in cash to purchase it

SP = MP-4×6000/100

= 6000- 240

= 5760

Amount = 5760 + 12 × 5760/100 (SP +12×SP/100)

= 5760+691.2

= 6451.2
