Jahangir was a Mughal emperor who built the Shalimar Garden.
This was constructed in Delhi, Shalimar Bagh once upon a time and in later Lahore took as an inspiration taken from the ones in Delhi.
This happened in the year 1653.
This place is now a colony with an upscale.
Its area is 12.4 hectares and is opened in 1619 AD.
