an=6n+2

n=1,2,3

a1=6×1+2=8

a2=6×2+2=14

a3=6×3+2=20

Therefore AP=8,14,20

d=a2-a1

d=14-8

d=6

Answer:

 Common\: difference\:in \:given \\A.P = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given \\ n^{th} \: term\:of\:an\:A.P =a_{n}=6n+2

Now,\\common\: difference (d)=a_{n}-a_{n-1}

=(6n+2)-[6(n-1)+2]

=6n+2-(6n-6+2)\\=6n+2-(6n-4)\\=6n+2-6n+4\\=6

Therefore,

 Common\: difference\:in \:given \\A.P = 6
