The nagar palika of a certain city started campaign to kill stary dogs which numbered 1250 in a city. As a result the population of stary dog started decreasing at the rates of 20% per month. Calculate the number of stray dogs in the city three month after the campaign started.

population of stary dogs decreasing=20%
1250×20/100=250
after three months results=250×3=750 dogs decrease
so 1250-750=500
