Volume of the Pyramid:

1) The volume of the pyramid was first stated around 400 BC by the Greek mathematician and philosopher Democritus.

2) But later it was  proved by the brilliant mathematician Eudoxus around  408-305 BC.

3) The volume of a pyramid is given by:

V = (A_b × h )/3,

where h is the perpendicular height and A_b is the area of the base of the pyramid.
