Explanation:

The narrator was bored as he did not know what to do for, he was rich but idle. So, one day he decided to go on a voyage for trading in different places with a few merchants. As they started the weather was fine and the sea was calm, and everything was going on smoothly when suddenly the hurricane broke out and the tempest had continued for quiet some days, and they finally landed on an island.  

It was getting dark and as they were all tired, they went to sleep. But suddenly they got up on hearing a rustling noise that of a snake the huge python. They all ran but one of the narrator’s companions was killed by the snake. They continued to run and for safety’s sake, they all climbed the treetop, but again the snake followed and killed another companion too.
