The National Assembly was dissolved and replaced by National Constituent Assembly on 9 July 1789 during the French Revolution’s initial stages. This was in turn dissolved on 30 September 1791 and was replaced by the Legislative Assembly. The National Assembly existed from 14 June 1789 to 9 July 1789. It was a revolutionary assembly which was formed by the Third Estate representatives of the Estates-General.
