Nature of Economic activity is divided into four parts.

The different economic activities are divided into categories based on their nature as enlisted below as following,

1. Primary – This category includes the primary level treatment of natural resources which could lead to build up economic activity such as the extraction and collection of natural resources. Production is also included via agriculture. Others are mining or fishing.

2. Secondary – This category includes the secondary level treatment to natural resources such as processing of agricultural products, making fish for longer transport by packaging it right, polishing of mined resources.

3. Tertiary – This category directly relates to the economy by providing assistance to the first two categories via publication and advertisement for them to be of monetary use. Agricultural products to be sold under brand names, fish cans, mined resources to be furnished and tagged via branding.

4. Knowledge sector known as Quarternary sector
