The force experienced by the conductor isMagnetic Lorentz Force caused by moving charges (current) in the conductor.

The current induces Magnetic Field in the conductor whose direction is given by Right Hand Thumb Rule.

The direction of Force due to Magnetic field is given by Flemming's Left Hand Rule.

In case of 2 current carrying conductors. The direction of magnetic field at P is outwards and Q is inwards.

By applying Flemming's Left Hand Rule, we will find that the magnetic force between 2 conductors carrying parallel current isattractive in nature.

The nature of force between two parallel current carrying wires having current in same direction is attraction.

Option (a) is correct.

The magnetic field due to one wire is inward and due to other is outward.

Now curl your fingers placing your thumb in the direction of current , you will get the direction of force on each wire. Through this method you will see that both the wires are attracting each other .
