Answer :
(b) no real roots
Solution :
2x² - 3x + 5 = 0
In this equation, a = 2, b = -3, c = 5
∆ = b² - 4ac
= (-3)² - 4(2)(5)
= 9 - 40
= -31
⟶ ∆ < 0
If determinant of a quadratic equation is less than 0, the equation is said to have no real roots
∴ 2x² - 3x + 5 has no real roots
