electrons are negatively charged fundamental particles of an atom...
it has a mass of 9.1*10^(-31) kg,...
they occur outside the nucleus....
according to Bohrs theory it is said to be in circular orbits moving along them...
whereas according to quantum mechanics they occur in 3d orbitals...moving randomly around the nucleus...
