Here a=first term= -8
difference
d =-3-(-8).
=-3+8
=5
.
So we should add 5 to get the succeeding term.

So next term in the series -8,-3,2 will be 7.

hope it helps u ^-^

Bonjour!¡

AP: –8, –3, 2

a = –8
d = –3 –(–8)
d = –3 + 8
d = 5

a4 = a + 3d
a4 = –8 + 3(5)
a4 = –8 + 15
a4 = 7
