the sequence forms an ap. the c.d of the ap can be found out by: a2-a1

so here, a2= -1 and a1- 4

so, a2-a1= -1-4= -5, so, common diff is -5

now term required id the 4th term i.e.

n4= n3+c.d

   = -6-5 =-11
