She had talent because, the first time she sung her song sitting on the tree she was praised, by everyone because of her melodious voice. But, Nightingale lacked self confidence and was highly submissive, due to this she got influenced by the frog's selfish advice. She was naive and Nightingale had no sense of judgement of her own and got influenced by other people's words very easily. This proved to be deadly for her. She couldn't estimate the line beyond which it was fatal for her. She grew over-confident by the compliments she got after her performance. Her innocence resulted in her death and being used by the frog to earn money and hence we can say that the Nightingale didn't have skills to survive in this competitive world.
