Mahatma Gandhi promised to Indians that if Non Corporation Movement was fully implemented throughout nation then Swaraj would be ushered within an year. Unfortunately this dream could not materialise but NCM set new stage and prepared Indians for the future movements.

The non cooperation movement and khalifat movement showed great national importance. As Khalifa the spread, the national integrity was highly observed. Both Hindu Muslim communities came together and fought for swaraj. Also through non cooperation there was a huge participation of bother the middlend class and lower class. However non cooperation movement was called off because of the spread of violence and riots.
