SOLUTION:
The non cooperation movement spread to the countryside due to the following reasons:
1.Peasants had to perform begar in the landlord's farm without any payment. They took part in the movement so that they could ask for abolition of begar.
2.Peasants were being oppressed by talukdars and landlords who demanded High rents and a variety of other taxes from them. They actively took part in the movement so that they could socially boycott the oppressive landlords.
3. As tenants & peasants had no security of tenure and no rights over the leased land. They actively took part in the movement so that they could demand for reduction in land revenue.
4. Failure of crops led to acute food shortage and price rise, causing hardship and spreading of anti British feelings among Indians.
