- In this case the cell will double in content and so on because nucleus keeps on dividing (karyokinesis) and it won't produce daughter cells.
In animal cytokinesis take place by furrow or cleavage method which starts from periphery and proceed towards center. If microfilament fails to function then it will inhibit cytokinesis (centripetal process).
In plants it occur by the cell plate method which starts from center and proceed towards the periphery through microtubule. (centrifugal process).
