● Solution-
Lets assume P be the pressure applied on the gold lump.
strain = ∆V / V
stress = P

K = stress / strain
K = P / (∆V/V)
K = PV / ∆V

Putting V = M/ρ, ∆V = M/∆ρ -
K = P (M/ρ) / (M/∆ρ)
K = P × ∆ρ / ρ
∆p = ρK/P

Change in density ia ρK/P.
