Kashi yatre was the book written by triveni.The story was associated with the lives of the common people including the grandmother.The grandmother was illiterate so she she had to take help of her granddaughter.Once in the absence of her grand daughter the magazine came and the grand mother was unable to read it.She felt very sad and depressed as she was illiterate.This made her determined to learn the Kannada alphabet and she eventually learnt it.So this was the great impact left by the book on the grandmother
