Given: the nth form of an AP is ( 2n+1)
To find : the sum of 10 terms
Solution:
nth term of an AP = 2n + 1
=> 1st term = 2(1) + 1 = 3
2nd term = 2(2) + 1 = 5
3rd term = 2(3) + 1 = 7
10th term = 2(10) + 1 = 21
Hence AP
= 1 , 3 , 5 , 7 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,21
common difference = 3 - 1 = 2
Sum of 10 Terms = (10/2) (1 + 21)
= 5 * 22
= 110
sum of 10 terms = 110
