The first three terms of the sequence are

(5×1)-3 = 5-3 = 2

(5×2)-3 = 10-3 = 7

(5×3)-3 = 15-3 = 12

Let

a_n \: be \: the \: sequence \:

Then

a_n = 5n - 3

So

First Term =

a_1 = 5 \times 1 - 3 = 2

Second Term =

a_2 = 5 \times2  - 3 = 10 - 3 = 7

Third Term =

a_3 = 5 \times 3 - 3 = 15 - 3 = 12
