To Find:

  • 3rd term

Solution:

we have,

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \boxed{ \sf a_{n} = 4n + 5} \:

Now taking n=3

we get,

\sf a_{3} = 4(3) + 5 \\ a_{3}  = 12 + 5 \\   \boxed{\boxed{ \sf a_{3}  = 17}}
