tn=4+5n
 where n=1
therefore t1=4+5*1
                 =4+5
                     =9

divyak: and what is the second term?
georocky1998: put n=2
there fore
georocky1998: put n=2
georocky1998: put n= 2 therefore t2= 4+5*2 =4+10=14,therefore second term =14

Hey there!

Answer:

T₁  = - 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

nth term of an equation = 4 - 5n

Tₙ = 4 - 5n

Then,

first term, T₁ = 4 - 5 * 1

                    = 4 - 5

                T₁   =  - 1
