substitute n= 1,2,3

ie 2*1-6= 2-6=-4

second term=2*2-6=4-6=-2

third term=2*3-6=6-6=0

nth term =2n-6

an=2n-6

a1=2×1-6=(-4)

a2=2×2-6=(-2)

a3=2×3-6=(0)

so that the first three term is (-4,-2,0)
