Let the numerator be x and denominator be y.
x=y-6
(x+3)/y=2/3
y-6+3/y=2/3
y-3/y=2/3
2y=3y-9
2y-3y=-9
-y=-9
hence y=9
then,
x=9-6
x=3
x/y=3/9
