8000 nd 20% = 1600
increase of 20%= 8000+1600 = 9600
then decreased by the 20% of 9600
that is 1920
so, 9600-1920 = 7680 is answer

Given number is increased by 20%.

120/100*8000 = 9600.

Then decreased by 20 %

80/100 * 9600 = 7680.

Resultant number = 7680.
