Let's assume

a the digit of hundreds

b the digit of tens

2a the digit of units.


 \overline{ab(2a)}=100*a+10*b+2a=102*a+20\  (since\  b=2)\\\\<br /><br />\overline{(2a)ba)}=\overline{ab(2a)}+396\Rightarrow\ 200*a+10*b+a=102*a+10*b+396\\\\<br /><br />\Rightarrow\ 99*a=396\\\\<br /><br />\Rightarrow\ a=4\\\\<br /><br />

x=428
