Given that, no of moles = 0.5

We know that, atoms=moles×Na×atomicity

Where, Na= 6.023×1023, atomicity=8

No of atoms= 0.5×6.023×10^23×8

No of atoms=24×10^23

Hence, number of atoms in 0.5 moles of S8 is 24× 10^23.
