Explanation:

The number of atoms in 1 mole of any substance is 6.022 × 10^23 atoms . This is according to Avogadro's law and it is referred to as Avogadro's number.

Substances with equal moles will have the same the same number of atoms in them.

Moles  = mass/ molar mass

i) Moles of 0.5 g nitrogen:

          0.5/14

 = 0. 0357 moles

ii) moles of 12 C

molar mass of C = 12

 = 12/12

 = 1 mole

iii) Moles of 32g S

molar mass of S = 32

32/32

= 1mole

iii) Moles of 8 g oxygen

molar mass of O = 16

8/16 = 0.5 moles

iv) Moles of 24 g of Mg

Molar mass of Mg = 24

24/24 = 1 mole

From above caluculation there is no element with same no. of atoms as 0.5gm of nitrogen.

But if the question had 0.5 moles of nitrogen, then the answer would have been 8 g of oxygen.
