If you started with 50, the amount will triple each hour.

So,

you take 50 and multiply it by three to get the number of bacteria in the second hour,

which is 150. Then to get the third hour,

you do that again.

150 x 3 = 450.

Answer:

If you started with 50, the amount will triple each hour. So, you take 50 and multiply it by three to get the amount of bacteria in the second hour, which is 150. Then to get the third hour, you do that again. 150 x 3 = 450.

step by step explanation :

In 1hr=50 bacterias

then

3hr=3×50=150 bacterias

5th hr=5×50=250 bacterias

10th hr=10×50=500 bacterias

11th hr=11×50=550 bacterias
