Boy/Girl ratio = 5:2

Thus Boys = 5x

Girls = 2x

Boys = Girls + 6

5x = 2x + 6

5x - 2x = 6

3x = 6

x = 6/3

x = 2

Total class strength = Boys + Girls = 5x + 2x = 7x

= 7(2)

= 14

The total class strength is 14.
