Answer:

Let's take the ratios as X

Number of boys will be 7X

Number of girls will be5X

a/q

7X=5X+8

7X-5X=8

2X=8

X=8/2

X=4

so total No of boys=7X=7×4=28

so total No of girls=5X=5×4=20

Hence,total strength of class is 28+20=48

Answer:

let us assume that number of boys = 7x,

number of girls = 5x,

ACCORDING TO THE SUM :-

_____________________

7x = 5x + 8,

7x-5x =8,

2x = 8

x =4

number of boys =7x =7*4=28,

number of girls =5x =5*4=20
