Hola

Here is your answer

Ratio of boys and girls is 7:5

let the number if boys and girls in the class be

7x and 5x

As its given number of boys is 8 more than the girls.

Thus,

7x = 5x + 8

7x - 5x = 8

2x = 8

x = 4

No. of boys - 7(-4) = 28

No. of girls - 5(4)= 20

Total strength = 20 + 28

= 48

Hope it helps !

Hi there!
Here's the answer:

•°•°•°•°•°•<><><<><>><><>•°•°•°•°•°

Given,
Ratio of No. of boys to No. of girls = 7 : 5

Let No. of boys = 7x
& No. of girls = 5x

Given that
No. of Boys = No. of Girls + 8
=> 7x = 5x + 8
=> 2x = 8
=> x = 4.

Total Class strength = 7x+5x
= 12x
•°• Required class strength = 12 × 4 = 48.

In this 48
No. of Boys = 7x = 28
No. of Girls = 5x = 20
