The number of boys and girls in a class are in the ratio of 3:4 Find the strength of the class if there are 10 more girls than there are boys.

Answer:

let the no. boy be = x

so, no. of boy be = 3+x

then no. of girl be = 10 +4+y

so , 10+4+y=3+x

= 14+y = 3+ x

=x+y=17

so,

3+ 17= 20 boys

4+17= 21 girls
