Solutions :-

Let's the number of girls 'x'

The number of Boys x'+8

•Boys : Girl's = 7:5

x+8 : x = 7:5

Given equation

7x=5(x+8)

7x = 5x+40

7x-5x=40

2x= 40

x=40÷2=20

x=20

Hence ,

Number of girls x = 20

Number of Boys = x +8 = 20+8 = 28

Total = 20 + 28 =48
