Answer:

Since

The number of boys in a class is twice the number of girls.

Let number of girls be 'x'.

Number of boys = '2x'.

According to statement

2x + x = 15

3x = 15

x = 5

number of girls be = 5

Number of boys = 10

Number of ways in which 5 boys and 3 girls be selected = C(10, 5) × C(5, 3)

= 252 × 10

= 2520
