We have to find the number of electric field lines emerged from 1C charge.

solution : Electric field strength is exactly proportional to the number of electric field lines per unit area. so number of electric field lines is nothing but electric field strength in a specific area.

i.e., number of electric field lines = EA.

= Kq/r² × 4πr²

= q/4πεr² × 4πr²

= q/ε

= (1)/(8.85 × 10^-12)

= 0.113 × 10¹²

= 1.13 × 10¹¹

Therefore the number of lines of force emerged out from 1 C charge is 1.13 × 10¹¹.
