Carbonium ion mewns Carbon with positive charge .
It has four electrons .
Positive charge here doesn't mean deficiency of one electron but in this case positive charge means deficiency of bond , Carbon has madebthree bonds here but we know that carbon can form 4 bonds so there is deficiency of one bond

(Here the positive charge indicates the deficiency of 1 bond i.e there are 3 bonds in place of the 4 bonds usually present in a carbon atom )
