charge developed on silver dollar after removing some amount of electron from it, Q = +2.4 C

we know, charge on each electron , e = 1.6 × 10^-19 C

Let number of electrons are removed from electrically neutral silver dollar is n.

using formula, Q = ne

or, 2.4 C = n × 1.6 × 10^-19 C

or, n = 2.4 × 10^19/1.6 = 1.5 × 10^19

hence, number of electrons are removed from silver dollar to give it charge of +2.4C is 1.5 × 10^19
