Hlo dear ,

Good Evening....

here is ur answer.

Let the denominator be x.

So ,the numerator becomes x-1.

Original fraction =x-1/x

According to the question

x-1+4/x+5=4/5

x+3/x+5=4/5

5 (x+3)=4 (x+5)

5x+15=4x+20

5x-4x=20-15

x=5

Original fraction =x-1/x

= 5-1/5

= 4/5
