The number of heterotrophs found in desert region is smaller. However they are found in great numbers in the sea.why is this so?

because heterotrops are cannot prepare their own food in desert there are few trees & animals to eat so they not found in deserts
in water seas there are most animals & below the sea there are most grass because 70 % of surface occupied by sea
so The number of heterotrops found in desert region is smaller however they are found in great numbers in the seas
