The number of lines of symmetry in a 180° protractor is one and infinite for 360° protractor.

- There are two types of geometrical protractor :

• 180° protractor

• 360° protractor

- Now,for the 180° protractor the line of symmetry will go through the line of 90°. And,we know that in a 180° protractor there is only one 90° line which means it has only one line of symmetry.

- Now,for the 360° protractor the line of symmetry will go through any 180° or straight line (straight line = 180°). And there are infinite numbers of straight line possible in the 360° protractor and that's why there are infinite number of lines of symmetry in the 360° protractor also.
