HELLO DEAR,

ANSWER:-

The balanced chemical equation for the reaction between potassium dichromate and hydrogen sulfide is as given below

K2Cr2O7 + 4H2SO4 + 3H2S -------> K2SO4 + Cr2(SO4)3 + 7H2O + 3 S.

1 mole of potassium dichromate reacts with 3 moles of hydrogen sulphide.

Hence ,the number of moles of potassium dichromate ( K2Cr2O7)

that will be needed to react 0.2 moles of H2S in acidic medium is 0.2/3 moles.

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS.
