Sol. The balanced chemical reaction is :

2MnO_4^- + 5CO_4^(2-) + 16H+

→ 2Mn2+ + 5SO_4^(2-) + 3H2O

∵ 5 moles SO_4^(2-) reacts with 2 moles of KMnO4

∴ 1 mole SO_4^(2-) reacts with 2/4 mole of KMnO4.

Hope it exact answer for the student to get better ideas with out meeting any trouble of it
