molar mass of nh3 = 14 + 3 = 17
In 17 g of nh3, mole of N = 1
In 4.5 g of nh3 moles of N = 1/17 ×4.5 = 4.5 /17 = 0.264 moles

Hope it helps

Answer:

0.2647 moles or approximately 0.265 moles of NH3

Explanation:

1 mole of NH3 weighs 17 grams(1 x N + 3 x H = 14 + 3 = 17 grams)

we can say,

        17 grams of NH3 is 1 mole of NH3.

Thus, 1 gram of NH3 is (1/17) moles of NH3.

Now,

        4.5 grams of NH3 is [1/17 x 4.5] moles of NH3 ,i.e., 0.2647 or 0.265 moles of NH3.
