The number of non square no.s that lie between n^2 and (n+1)^2 is 2n.

Think of it by taking n=2.Then n^2=4 and (n+1)^2 =9.
No. of non-square numbers are 5,6,7,&8.They are 4 in no. and also eqal to 2n.we took n=2.2×2=4.
